Promoting self acceptance
EXCEL is an outreach project committed to providing learning opportunities for children and young people in community homes (orphanages). This unit provides support services to encourage young people to develop functional skills and positive civic-minded attitudes that are necessary for a successful future and healthy lifestyle.
Our learning programmes are structured to use play, sports, arts, apprenticeship, and creative educational games as springboards to support skills development. The aim is to provide access to learning and skills development opportunities to unlock talents and potential. While the programmes are designed to assist participants in discovering and unleashing their potential, they will also encourage children to engage with their communities directly through their involvement with community-focused services and development projects.
