We are confident you can make a difference, and that is why we are hoping to position passionate people like you in communities to contribute, in time, knowledge and resources towards eliminating the barriers of success and to build social and economic capital to impact the lives of others.
Teach 2 Connect Volunteers
Teach 2 Connect is a unique opportunity for university students to serve as Teach Connect EXCEL ambassadors in schools. The programme also serves as an introductory teacher training and development programme with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) to foster creativity and innovation in primary and secondary schools.
The programme is keen on widening interest, involvement and participation through creativity and science. The success of the programme relies on people like you to take part in our learning programmes and community development projects.
Volunteering Experience
Volunteering at Teach Connect will offer you a chance to be able to use and develop leaderships skills and be a model that inspires children to achieve and succeed in their own lives and most especially in their pursuit of science related careers. It will also mean that you will be valued in the schools and communities where you serve, which may also will give you an opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, have fun, lead projects and increase your suitability for a paid employment.

What is expected from you
To ensure that your time spent is worthwhile and valuable, we expect interested individuals to be at least +18 years of age to be eligible to volunteer.
How we support volunteers
Teach Connect values its volunteers and their contribution to the work it is committed to. We assist our volunteers by providing them with training opportunities, professional advice, support and resources necessary for their volunteering activities.
This may include; skills development trainings, provision of accommodation, transport and feeding.
We also offer two free professional development training programmes that run for 6 months to develop our volunteers:
Entrepreneurship: Helping volunteers to become valuable and enterprising in order to help themselves, family and community.
Business Leadership: Helping volunteers become better leaders in their personal and professional world.
